I Am Not A Dionysian
In a small town in Northeast China, Song Hailiang (Song Xiaofeng) works as a box sealer at a winery. His only hobbies are drinking and boasting. The winery is struggling and on the verge of bankruptcy, and the manager, owing wages, decides to abscond. Song Hailiang leads the workers in pursuit, and the manager, left with no other option, entrusts him with a warehouse full of empty cardboard boxes. Unexpectedly, the entire warehouse is empty. Having used his money meant for a house to pay his colleagues' wages, Song Hailiang is utterly disheartened. Meanwhile, in a small city in the south, Xiong Chumo (Lin Zicong), a sales representative posing as the owner, claims to be about to close a large deal. He calls the Northeast winery, and Song Hailiang, on a whim, decides to pretend to be the winery owner and have met with Xiong to secure the order. Thus, the "Northeast heavy drinker" encounters the "South China tumbler," and a series of hilarious and absurd events unfold…
